Human skull and bones found in Buri Ram
A man in the Isaan province Buri Ram found a human skull while he was digging in the mud of a nearly dried up pond, collecting fish and frogs to eat. He then saw other bones scattered in the mud and reported it to the chief of tambon Sam Waeng.
Forensic investigators and rescuers from a local charity searched the area, finding human bones in the mud. They laid out the bones they found and say it made up a man’s skeleton. The bones will be examined by the Forensic Medicine Institute. Locals suspect the bones might be the remains of 34 year old Veerasak Buahom who disappeared around 6 months ago.
