A Thai woman sought a legal advisor to file a lawsuit after she was injured when climbing onto her husband’s car to stop him from driving off with his mistress.

The woman named Bee urged Channel 3 to share her story with the public while appealing for anyone with legal knowledge to help her file a lawsuit against her husband’s mistress. She is worried that she will not get justice because she and her husband have not signed an official marriage certificate.

Bee revealed that she has been in a relationship with her husband for 11 years, and they have three children together: an 11 year old daughter, a five year old son, and a two month old son. Both of them are food vendors specialising in grilled squid. Bee recently stopped working to care for their youngest son.

She mentioned that their togetherness had diminished from what it used to be, and she started noticing suspicious behaviour. Her husband frequently returned home late at night and was consistently drunk. Bee discovered tissue paper with lipstick stains and cosmetics in his car.

To confirm her suspicions, Bee left a mobile phone in the car and successfully recorded a conversation between her husband and another woman. This revealed that the mistress worked at a karaoke bar and had engaged in multiple intimate encounters with Bee’s husband.

Bee decided to confront both her husband and the mistress. She requested that they stop their relationship, and they seemingly agreed. However, Bee later observed her husband visiting the mistress on several occasions after their supposed agreement.

Bee admitted she once went to the karaoke bar and got into a physical fight with the mistress. Her husband took her home but it did not end there as she called the mistress and got into a heated argument.

Bee said what happened to her was heartbreaking. Her husband slapped her in the face to stop the phone call. She reported the physical assault to the Bangkok Noi Police Station but officers did not process the legal complaint and urged her and her husband to work it out themselves.

Bee said she could not let go of what her husband and lover were doing together. On Saturday, November 11, Bee left a phone in his car and listened in on their conversation. She found out they were going to a gold shop and followed them on her motorbike.

Bee met them in the Charoen Krung area of Bangkok and cut off the front of the car to make her husband stop. She rushed to the passenger door where the mistress was sitting and ordered her to get out but she refused.

Her husband then moved the car but she would not let go of the door handle. Her husband accelerated to try and shake her off without much success. Bee then climbed onto the vehicle making her husband and his lover get out of the car.

Bee again physically assaulted the mistress while the husband protected his lover. He allegedly choked and later kicked Bee, causing her to fall to the ground. She was injured and left by the side of the road.

Bee revealed that she and her husband were still living together. The man kept asking her for permission to take another woman but she would not accept it. She hoped that the media would bring in legal aid and counsellors to help her resolve the matter.
