Blue by Alain Ducasse: Bangkok’s new casual dining spot at ICONSIAM

Blue by Alain Ducasse stirs the pot with a fresh twist on fine dining, unveiling a laid-back, all-day eatery at ICONSIAM that’s set to serve up style with every bite. This new chapter in Bangkok’s foodie scene is anything but “Blue” plate special—it’s casual, chic, and unmistakably Ducasse.

Showcasing an exciting new menu of international favourites across 120 square metres of contemporary elegance, this extension brings a relaxed yet refined approach to dining, allowing guests an informal experience different to the main restaurant, which continues to offer luxurious fine dining befitting its one Michelin star status.

Diners can expect spectacular savoury dishes and desserts alongside an afternoon tea, signature cocktails, or refreshing mocktails inspired by seasonal ingredients, all in a casual atmosphere.

Helmed by acclaimed Executive Pastry Chef and artisan baker Chef Christophe Grilo, the new casual all-day-dining experience presents a versatile à la carte menu that celebrates classic French cuisine reimagined for everyday enjoyment.

Guests can begin with classics such as the avocado toast, grilled ham and cheese or the Boston lobster roll, all light but delicious and satiating meals.

For warm and comforting options, the tomato minestrone soup offers a medley of seasonal vegetables in a bright tomato broth, while pasta lovers can delight in the Paccheri with slow-braised beef cheeks, or the refined simplicity of Aglio & Olio linguine, served with garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes, and fresh parsley.

The dessert selection is equally captivating. Don’t miss out on the eclair vanilla, a delicate Choux pastry rich with smooth vanilla almond cream and vanilla glaze, and the pineapple cheesecake, served with lime, red wine reduction, and aged Parmesan.

For a cooling finish, the ice cream parfait comes in many different flavours, including chocolate hazelnut, pistachio praline, and pineapple rum raisin.

Guests can also try out the Afternoon Tea Set, served alongside savoury bites and sweet treats paired with signature hot chocolate and artisanal coffee, sourced directly from Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse and La Manufacture de Café Alain Ducasse in Paris.

Complementing the culinary offerings, Blue’s beverage list includes elegant cocktails such as the Blue Mimosa and the timeless Aperol Spritz.

Non-alcoholic options are also available, with signature mocktail creations such as Pétale de Citron (a floral blend of Amalfi lemon and aromatic Chulalongkorn rose syrup) and Tamarina ( A mix of Phuket pineapple, golden tamarind, and egg white for a tropical lift).

This new addition further extends the Alain Ducasse culinary presence in Bangkok, complementing the prestigious Blue by Alain Ducasse, a one-Michelin-starred French fine dining destination. Also part of the brand’s growing presence in Bangkok is Blue Café by Alain Ducasse at Siam Paragon, a French-style café offering artisanal pastries, viennoiseries, and signature beverages, a perfect stop for a break in the heart of the city.

Together, these culinary experiences from Blue by Alain Ducasse encapsulate the philosophy of Chef Alain Ducasse, one of the most celebrated chefs in the world, with over 24 Michelin stars across his global portfolio.
