Round 2: Thai and Filipina transwomen clash again in Soi Sukhumvit 11
Sex work territory leads to violent altercation in Bangkok nightlife scene

A group of Thai and Filipina transwomen clashed once again last night in Soi Sukhumvit 11, Bangkok. The Thai nationals accused the foreigners of initiating the conflict.
A Thai transwoman shared videos of the altercation on her Facebook account, Naeya Umar, yesterday, June 11. The footage showed several Thai ladyboys physically assaulting two Filipina transwomen dressed in black and grey mini dresses.
In the first video, three Thai transwomen were seen attacking a Filipina national in a black dress, striking her with a traffic cone and repeatedly kicking her. Another Thai transwoman, wearing green trousers, was shown kicking another Filipina transwoman in the grey dress.
The person recording the video could be heard shouting, “Enough! Enough! Don’t gang up on them. Let’s give them a chance to fight.”
In the latest video, the Thai transwoman in the black dress kicked the Filipina transwoman in the back and chased her away shouting “Go!” before both parties dispersed.

Naeya Umar, who shared the video, clarified that she was not present at the scene and did not take part in the assault. She stated that a friend asked her to upload the videos.
She explained that the altercation began when three Filipina ladyboys argued with the Thai national in green trousers. She stated that the Thai transwoman previously offered sexual services in Soi Sukhumvit 11 before travelling abroad with her boyfriend.
Upon returning to Thailand, she resumed working in the area and encountered the Filipina group. The foreign ladyboys allegedly asked her to move elsewhere, claiming they had been working at the location before her.

The Thai national refused to leave, insisting that she had the right and freedom to stand wherever she pleased, as she was a citizen of the country.
A heated argument ensued, after which the Thai transwoman called her friends to the scene, leading to the physical altercation captured on video. One of the three Filipina ladyboys managed to escape from the scene before the assault.
No police officers intervened during the incident, and both parties eventually separated on their own.

This marks the second known clash between Thai and Filipina transwomen in Soi Sukhumvit 11, following a major incident in March last year. On that occasion, a Thai ladyboy was reportedly assaulted and robbed by a group of over 20 Filipina transwomen.
The previous confrontation drew attention from both local and international media, with reports stating that nearly 2,000 Thai transwomen gathered at the scene.
Naeya Umar added that the two Filipina ladyboys who were assaulted in the video were members of the same group as those involved in the previous incident.
