The University Council will now convey its decision to the Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation Ministry. In turn, the ministry will pass on the appointment to the cabinet secretariat office, after which it will be presented to the King for royal endorsement.

Prof. Supasawad brings with him a wealth of experience and academic achievement. His career at Thammasat University began in earnest in 2013, when he was appointed dean of the Faculty of Political Science. Thereafter, he served as deputy rector in charge of management at the university’s Tha Prachan and Pattaya campuses until 2020. Prior to his current appointment, he was the deputy rector of the university in human resource management.
