Found in the middle of the road was the body of a 17 year old female student, a first-year automotive major at a vocational college in Ratchaburi. She was wearing a brown workshop shirt, blue trousers, and black sneakers, which were found beside her body.

About 100 metres from the motorcycle, a white pickup truck was found with significant damage to its front right side, including a shattered headlight. The driver of the pickup, 60 year old Somchai sustained a head injury. Medical personnel provided first aid to Somchai, who recounted driving from Khao Ngu towards his home.
