Gold prices drop again as traders urged to act quickly

Compared to yesterday’s closing price, gold ornaments are selling at 41,100 baht per baht-weight. Today’s gold prices, as of 9.04am, July 30, have decreased by 100 baht from the last price on July 29.

Gold bars in the domestic market are being bought at 40,500 baht per baht-weight and sold at 40,600 baht per baht-weight according to the first announcement of the day. Gold ornaments are being bought at 39,764.68 baht per baht-weight and sold at 41,100 baht per baht-weight. Meanwhile, the global gold price (Gold Spot) stands at USD 2,379.50 per ounce.

A representative from the GTA stated that the current trend shows a continuous adjustment in gold prices.

The GTA website provided the latest data, reflecting the changes in both buying and selling prices of gold bars and ornaments. As of today, gold bars have a purchase price of 40,500 baht and a selling price of 40,600 baht per baht-weight. For gold ornaments, the buying price is 39,764.68 baht, while the selling price remains at 41,100 baht per baht-weight.
