Dog rescued from cruel owner who dragged pooch along road

A Thai woman rescued a dog from its cruel owner, who dragged the animal along the road in the Isaan province of Nakhon Ratchasima, leading to injuries to its legs and body.
The witness, Charuwan Phuangkham, shared the videos of an argument between the dog owner and a woman who rescued the animal on her Facebook account yesterday. April 8. Charuwan also made her feelings known about the dog owner’s actions.
“Damn! You were born to be a human but had no humanity. He tied the dog to his motorcycle and dragged the animal along the road outside Pak Chong District Office.”
Charuwan revealed that she was shocked to witness the cruel behaviour of the man. A lot of cars on the road honked at him to make him stop, but he ignored them. The dog bore traces of abuse across its body and had bloody wounds on its legs from the violent pulling.
According to Charuwan, the man displayed no guilt. He agreed to let the woman in the video take the dog from him and left the scene on his motorcycle. Charuwan said the dog was too lovely to face this cruelty.

In the video, the man was seen showing respect to something before leaving. Netizens suspected him of having a mental illness.
The woman in the video, 44 year old Ice, gave an interview with One 31 about the incident. She explained that she picked up her child from school and was travelling home when she witnessed the animal abuse.
The suspect tried the dog, aged about four to five months, with his blue Honda MSX motorcycle and dragged it a long way to the road. The dog initially managed to walk along the road, but the man sped up his vehicle, forcing it to run.

The attacker continued to increase the speed, making the dog exhausted and collapse on the road, so it was pulled tragically. Ice decided to cut him off in the front to make him pull over and seized the animal from him.
Ice said he and another woman who came to help the dog engaged in an argument with the attacker. He said he wanted people in the area to see what he had done and hate him.

One 31 reported that the dog’s four legs and body were injured. It felt depressed and had a fever. Following the traces of old wounds, the attacker was suspected of abusing this dog multiple times previously.
The dog now has a new home, and its physical condition has improved. Nevertheless, its mental health still requires time and care for improvement.

The non-profit organisation, Watchdog Thailand (WDT) Foundation, acted as a representative to file a complaint against the attacker at Pak Chong Police Station. The organisation stated that it would pursue the maximum legal punishment against the suspect.
