Injured foreign man vanishes after bloody bar brawl in Krabi

A foreign man, whose body was covered in blood, disappeared on his motorcycle following a brawl with his friends at a bar on Koh Lanta, an island in the southern province of Krabi, raising concerns among residents.

A video showing a foreign man with bloodstains across his body was shared on social media by a Thai bar owner. The footage was recorded at approximately 10.30pm on on Wednesday, April 9, shortly after a dispute broke out among a group of foreigners inside the bar.

In the video, the injured man is seen walking out of the bar before getting onto a motorcycle. Two other foreigners followed him and mounted their motorcycles, seemingly preparing to leave the scene.

However, another foreign man, wearing brown shorts, approached the injured man and attempted to block his departure. The two engaged in a heated argument before the injured man collided with a parked motorcycle and eventually managed to flee the area.

The bar owner, who recorded the video, was heard saying, “Stabbing? I see a hole in his body there. It’s stabbing.” He suggested that the man’s friends take him to a hospital, but no one responded.
