Tragedy struck when 24 year old woman was found dead after allegedly jumping from a pickup truck, but mounting evidence points to a darker truth involving her Thai cop boyfriend. Police Lance Corporal Kittipoom now faces serious charges relating to murder and drug abuse.

Grieving and searching for answers, the victim’s mother, 62 year old Eungporn, and her sister, 32 year old Vichunan, travelled from Rayong to the Ranong Police Station.

Their visit followed reports of the death of Tanyatorn, also known as “Earn,” which have triggered an intensive investigation led by Police Colonel Thawatchai Sooncharoen.

The body of Earn is due to be released from Ranong Hospital tomorrow, January 18, with funeral rites scheduled at Wat Suwankhiri Wiharn. In a compassionate gesture, Pol. Col. Thawatchai and other officers have committed to covering the funeral expenses.

In an emotional interview, Eungporn, through tears, disclosed she had yet to see her daughter’s body and was at a loss over the cause of her tragic demise. She voiced skepticism about the possibility of it being an accident, emphasising her daughter’s zest for life and love for beauty.

Eungporn recounted how the 24 year old Kittipoom once sought her blessing to date Earn when she and her husband were working in Ranong.

Initially approving with the assurance of Earn’s well-being, Eungporn noticed a shift as the relationship soured, and Earn began reporting physical abuse. Despite her mother’s advice to leave, Earn faced continued mistreatment, especially after her mother relocated.

In their final conversation, Earn thoughtfully sent her mother 300 baht to buy fruit and urged her to maintain her health, almost like a farewell. Earn’s seven year old son, who spoke with her for two hours that day, remains blissfully unaware of her passing.

The heartbreaking incident unfolded on the Wednesday afternoon of January 15, leaving Eungporn in shock and unable to reach out due to a broken phone. Financially strained, she received 1,000 baht from the police for travel. Ranong Police Station also covered the family’s hospital and lodging expenses.

Eungporn hopes for the suspect to face justice and confess, potentially opening a path to forgiveness. She longs for her daughter to rest in peace and ascend as an angel in heaven.

Grappling with the loss, she recounted an eerie premonition of a shrouded body on the day of her daughter’s death, thwarted by technology failures in those fateful moments.
