Phuket Pads: Get resort feel in bay villa

Published

 on

PHUKET: This type of beachfront villa in the south of the island is rare. But, why?

We should start by saying that all beach fronts on the island of Phuket have been occupied by
hotels and resorts, and the cost of land is so expensive that to build a private villa, for most budgets, would not be economical.

Furthermore, Thai law states that property may not be built on beach land within 20 meters of the high-tide mark, and even then the structure may not be more than 6m high.

You can see from the photos that this villa is a stone’s throw away from the beach.

You really can’t get much better than this.

This beachfront villa is located right on Chalong Bay in a 4-star resort.

The highlights of this modern Thai-style villa are its spacious pool (32 square meters), three-jet jacuzzi (2.8sqm), and terrace which overlooks the beach and provides direct access to it. A large sala sits at the edge of the property offering shade and pool access.

The house is offered fully furnished with large screen TVs and internet. The open interior living plan, dining area, and western kitchen are massive. The tasteful decor makes the place ideal for entertaining, and the high ceilings and tiled floor keep the interior cool.

There are four bedrooms inside the home, including two beautifully finished master suites with seating areas and en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs.

The two guest suites also have en-suite bathrooms, but with showers only. There is an additional maid’s room with an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The full Western kitchen features golden wood cabinetry and black marble counter tops. There is a built-in hob, hood, oven, microwave and dishwasher. In addition, there is a safe room, a laundry room, and a guest WC.

The property is surrounded by walls and has an impressive entrance and car port with room enough for two cars. The exterior area is 900sqm and internal area 400sqm.

Hotel services include security, watering, gardening and swimming pool cleaning, plus any public access and use of amenities. A 30 per cent discount off restaurant, bar and spa from the resort is included.

There is a Chanote title available for the land, and road access through the resort. The land and villa itself are both free of a mortgage. It is available freehold. This gorgeous villa is going for 37,000,000 baht.
