A couple of young lovebirds in school uniforms have been caught on camera sharing an intimate kiss and fondling each other in a public park, seemingly without a care for the surrounding onlookers. The incident became viral on the Internet in Hong Kong after Mirror Media reported it.

The 26-second clip reveals the young lovebirds dressed in school uniforms sitting together on a park bench. They are engrossed in a passionate embrace, kissing each other deeply. The clip also shows the young male caressing the female by putting his hand inside her shirt and moving it around clearly. The footage was captured by a passer-by on a bus, but the exact date and location are still unclear.

As soon as the clip was released, netizens flooded the Internet with their opinions, mostly criticising the young couple’s behaviour. They felt that their public display of affection was too explicit, especially considering that both young lovebirds appeared to be still attending school.

According to Hong Kong law, such an act could be considered as committing an indecent act in public. If the court finds them guilty, they could face a fine of HKD 2,000 (approximately 8.500 baht) and up to six months imprisonment.

The incident has sparked a debate online among social media users who share contrasting opinions. While some argue that the couple’s behaviour was entirely inappropriate and disrespectful, others believe that they should be allowed to express their feelings for each other.

Nevertheless, the intensity of the young lovebirds’ actions and their disregard for public space have left many people uncomfortable. It is widely believed that there is a time and place for such intimacy, and a public park may not be the most suitable location for it.

This case brings to light the importance of understanding cultural norms and feelings about public displays of affection. In some societies, it’s considered entirely acceptable, while in others, it’s seen as disrespectful or even offensive.
