Overloaded pickup truck rolls off road into Rawai jungle

An overloaded pickup truck has rolled down into off-road jungle in Rawai today. The pickup driver sustained only minor injuries.
The Chalong Police were notified of the incident on Patak Road in Soi Suksan 1, Rawai at 10.50am today.
Patrol police and emergency responders arrived to find a damaged pickup truck head-long into a tree 10 metres from the roadside. In the back of the pickup truck police found damaged tiles.
26 year old Sarawut Samranwong told police that he was heading from Bangkok to Karon to deliver the tiles. He said this was his first time driving in Phuket. He was following his way on Google Maps. When he arrived at the scene he stepped on the brakes but says the front wheels seized up. The pickup truck then rolled down into the jungle. (Code for ‘was looking at phone’?)
