Hard Rock Cafe Phuket gives thanks to first responders
PHUKET: Hard Rock Cafe Phuket celebrated ‘Thanksgiving’ on Thursday by inviting 20 firemen for a Thanksgiving lunch at Hard Rock Cafe.
These were the first responders from Patong Municipality Fire Department who assisted with the Hard Rock Cafe patio fire that took place on October 18 causing superficial damage but no injuries.
The firefighting team, led by Visit Mathasoontornpoj, general administration officer of Patong Municipality, was able to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal and a memorabilia tour by Hard Rock’s Acting General Manager, Roland Nicolich.
The patio itself was reopened on November 8 with a live performance by the Rock Evolutions band, who are on stage nightly.
It is not known whether they performed the Talking Heads classic Burning Down The House.
