British siblings come face-to-face with Phuket tsunami savior

PHUKET: A Phuket reunion nearly 10 years in the making came to fruition last night as Ben and Emily Willgrass surprised their tsunami savior Yupin Sengmuang on the doorstep of her Tri Trang shop.
The British siblings put out a call via Facebook for help in finding Ms Yupin, as the two were planning to come to the Phuket on holiday on July 20 (story here). The three were put in contact less than 24 hours.
“Ben and Emily came to my shop at about 6pm yesterday. Emily hadn’t changed a bit – she is so small, cute and loves to smile. Ben is a big, strong man now,” Ms Yupin Phuket Gazette today.
“Now I’ve finally met them again, and they are all grown up. They just walked right in with a few friends and introduced themselves.”
Ms Yupin promptly invited them all to stay for dinner.
“It was a wonderful night. I saw in their eyes how happy they were to see me, as I was to see them,” she said.
