Phuket Airport cleaner returns 600,000 Baht worth of valuables

The Director of Phuket International Airport, Petch Chancharoen, has officially thanked and made a presentation to a cleaner at the airport, Nattaya Prasanpan, who found and returned 600,000 Baht worth of valuables to a passenger.

The cleaner found the valuables, including a Celine bag, 1,500 Baht in cash, a Mini Cooper car key, a Rolex watch, Prada card wallet, credit cards and other documents in a woman toilet at the domestic terminal.

She reported her finding to a security officer. Later, the owner of the belongings, Mewadee Wiwatsongchai, showed proof to airport staff and received her valuables. The owner gave the housekeeper a reward and thanked her for her honesty and kindness.

“I would like to praise her for her excellent work ethic and honesty. This is the second time already that a cleaner of Phuket International Airport has returned valuables to a passenger,” said the Airport Director.
