Woman jumps onto car bonnet, shocking driver in Pathum Thani (video)

A well-dressed woman unexpectedly jumped onto the bonnet of a car, shocking the driver and causing damage. The incident, which occurred yesterday, March 3, has involved multiple victims, and police are currently tracking the suspect for legal proceedings.
The incident was captured on a dashboard camera and shared on TikTok, serving as a warning to solo drivers at night.
The footage, taken on Lam Luk Ka Road in Pathum Thani province, showed a woman jumping onto the bonnet of 33 year old Panicha Benchathamwut’s Toyota car, damaging it.
On February 26 at around 9.24pm, Panicha was driving home when the incident occurred.
She noticed a woman running towards a nearby car, lying on the road, and then attempting to climb a pickup truck unsuccessfully, likely due to its height.
The woman then jumped onto Panicha’s car, climbed over it, and got down on the other side. Numerous bystanders recorded the incident, suggesting that they too were victims, and advised Panicha to leave quickly.
Fortunately, Panicha’s dashboard camera captured the incident clearly, a situation she found both shocking and frightening.
Concerned about possible criminal intent or extortion, Panicha noted the woman’s well-dressed appearance. She filed a report at Khu Khot Police Station and learned that five other similar incidents occurred on the same day.
Police intervened and initially detained the suspect, who was later released to relatives. Despite contacting the relatives, Panicha was informed that the suspect was still unaccounted for.
Panicha’s car sustained bonnet dents and scratches at a time when her insurance had lapsed. After posting the video on TikTok, comments suggested the woman had been seen in Thanyaburi district, with some indicating she might have mental health issues.
Panicha urged the relatives to ensure the woman’s safety, as her actions pose a risk to herself and others on the road. The presence of the dashboard camera was fortunate, capturing the entire incident.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Setthawut Khamnama, an officer at Khu Khot Police Station, stated that after receiving reports from the victims, investigations revealed the suspect’s identity.
Police visited her residence, but she was not found, prompting them to inform her guardians as they continue efforts to bring her to justice, reported KhaoSod.
