A Thai woman, disappointed after participating in a weight loss campaign in Thailand by well-known online seller Tak Kornkanok, has revealed that she successfully lost the required weight but received no reward. The campaign, promising 100,000 baht for losing 10 kilogrammes in one month, failed to deliver on its promise.

The Thai woman, 32 year old Krintorn Phakdeewittayakul, shared her frustration, explaining that she had followed the campaign rules, purchasing products from Tak and following the weight loss regimen. She discovered the campaign through one of Tak’s livestreams, where it was announced that participants who successfully lost 10 kilogrammes within a month would receive 100,000 baht.

The campaign, in collaboration with Keng Layprang, was reportedly funded with a budget of 2 million baht.

Krintorn followed all the rules, measuring her waist and weighing herself weekly, before submitting her progress to Tak. She managed to achieve the goal within the stipulated time but heard nothing back from the campaign organisers.

When she inquired about the status of the campaign via the product representative’s page, she was directed to Tak’s main page. However, her messages went unanswered, and she was eventually told that the campaign was no longer active.

“I felt deeply disappointed. I invested 1,988 baht in Tak’s products, believing in her credibility and reputation. I have followed her since my university days and saw her as someone trustworthy, a benefactor who helps others. But now, after this incident, I feel lost and have stopped watching her livestreams and purchasing her products.”

Other customers who participated in the campaign also reported similar experiences, with many having successfully met the weight loss target but receiving no communication or reward. One of the affected participants reached out to Keng Layprang for clarification.

Keng, who was also associated with the campaign, mentioned that Tak had decided to distance herself from any legal issues, reported KhaoSod.
