Social media influencer Little Muay fights for justice after severe burns in clinic review

A popular social media influencer, affectionately known as Little Muay, continues her battle for justice after a year-long ordeal. The influencer was severely burnt during a review of a clinic’s procedure, which resulted in her being engulfed in flames.

Today’s trending show featured Little Muay, a renowned influencer who suffered severe injuries following a review session at a clinic. The incident involved a traditional Thai medicinal procedure of burning herbs on the abdomen, which led to a catastrophic failure when alcohol leaked from the treatment area, igniting a fire that engulfed her body. Despite fighting for justice for over a year, she has yet to receive appropriate compensation.

Little Muay opened up about her ordeal on the show. She had contacted the clinic, located in a Ram Inthra shopping mall, for a review on December 10. The review was in exchange for a voucher from the clinic.

After completing a bone-setting review, the clinic’s staff suggested she try something different, offering three options: acupuncture, cupping, or abdominal herbal burning.

Having recently had Botox, Little Muay was unable to try facial acupuncture. Cupping was also out of the question since she had an event where she had to wear a backless dress. So, she opted for the abdominal herbal burning, which a 30-something female doctor from the clinic performed. The doctor reassured her that the procedure was safe and beneficial for menstrual regulation and wind expulsion.

The procedure involved igniting alcohol five to six times. However, from the second round, the alcohol began to seep beyond the designated area, wetting her arms, underwear, and back. Despite alerting the doctor, the procedure continued until the fifth round when a loud explosion was heard, and Little Muay was engulfed in flames. Her boyfriend rushed to her aid, pulling her off the burning bed and helping to extinguish the fire, while the doctor fled the room.

Little Muay suffered severe burns across her body and was taken to the hospital, where she was admitted for over two months. Initially, the treatment costs amounted to 1.4 million baht, which the clinic agreed to cover. Little Muay used her insurance of 380,000 baht, and the clinic and the doctor jointly paid the remaining amount.

However, since being discharged, Little Muay has had to cover her ongoing treatment costs, which, along with her insurance, totals over 700,000 baht. If legal costs are included, the expenses are likely to exceed 1 million baht. Despite promising not to abandon her, the clinic has not made any further contact, leaving Little Muay to pursue the matter.

A police report was filed at Bang Khen Police Station but no criminal action has been taken. Almost a year has passed, and it is unclear how much longer the statute of limitations will allow.

Little Muay, known for her relationship with Ball, of Buffet Channel fame, has a large following. Since the incident, her fans have shown immense support. Recently, W Cosmetic Surgery Hospital has stepped in to take care of her surgical procedures to treat her burn scars. It has also been reported that her lawyer has been contacted by the clinic in question, reported Sanook.
