Singha Park Chiang Rai has set up a central kitchen to aid flood victims by providing drinking water, cooked food, and ready-to-eat meals in response to the severe flooding in various areas of Chiang Rai.

The flooding has particularly affected the Mueang district, where the Kok River has overflowed, submerging homes and causing widespread damage. In the Mae Sai district, although water levels have receded, many residents remain unable to return to their homes and are staying in temporary shelters.

Singha Park Chiang Rai, part of Boon Rawd Brewery Company Limited, has established the central kitchen to serve as a hub for preparing cooked meals. These meals are distributed to the five Singha Arsa rescue networks in the area: Siam Chiang Rai Foundation, Thamnan Rescue Association Chiang Rai, Sirikorn Chiang Rai Disaster Relief Association, Piyamitr Mae Sai United Relief and Charity Association, and Saeng Tham Public Charity Foundation Chiang Rai.

These organisations use the meals to support their missions, which include on-the-ground assistance to flood-affected residents in Wiang and Rim Wiang subdistricts of Mueang Chiang Rai. Singha Park Chiang Rai is also distributing ready-to-eat meals and drinking water to those still stranded in affected areas.

Additionally, they have opened several parking areas within Singha Park such as the market front parking lot, farm tour parking lot, and the area next to the Singha statue to accommodate vehicles and motorcycles of people who need to evacuate quickly.

The latest reports by KhaoSod indicate that water levels in the Kok River continue to rise, impacting low-lying areas and causing swift water currents that have inundated some economic zones.

The Singha Arsa team, along with rescue networks and student groups, is closely monitoring the situation and tirelessly assisting affected residents. They are providing not only physical aid but also moral support to help the community navigate this crisis, said a spokesperson.
