Phatthalung real estate agent found dead at home

A 69 year old female real estate agent was discovered dead in her home in the Thung Mai community of Phatthalung province. The body was found yesterday, April 27, after neighbours noticed unusual behaviour and reported it to police.

Officers from Mueang Phatthalung Police Station, along with rescue officials, responded to the call at 2.30pm. They accessed the single-storey home through a window to find Chantra’s body on her bed, indicating she may have been dead for over two days.

A neighbour, Nee, stated that Chantra usually left her house each morning to buy groceries and would later sit outside her home.

After noticing her absence for three days, and receiving no response to phone calls, Nee contacted the police.

Before her death, Chantra had called a friend who works as a village health volunteer, expressing that she felt unwell and asked if they could stay over as she was having difficulty sleeping.

Chantra suffered from several health conditions, including hypertension and diabetes, and was on medication. However, her friend was unavailable to stay with her, reported KhaoSod.

Upon examination, police initially speculated that Chantra may have died from a fainting episode. No signs of struggle or assault were found. Her body has been handed over to her family for funeral rites.

At the scene, they found the body of the young man, a resident of Mueang Phia subdistrict, Kut Chap district, Udon Thani. The worker was found lying near electrical wires wrapped around him, though no immediate evidence suggested electrocution.
