Business Buzz: Social media automation brings success on a platter
PHUKET: Is your business taking advantage of social media automation?
These days, it is easy to get overwhelmed by the number of different applications and platforms that we can choose from on social media.
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram are some of the most commonly known sites, but have you heard of SnapChat, Reddit, Quick-R, Flickr, Picasa, Plurk, Ning, Digg, or Periscope? There are far too many more to list, but I think you get the idea.
With so many choices, it can be easy to get lost or sidetracked. This, in many cases, can lead to procrastination, and some may not even start at all, because they don’t know where or how to begin.
Most people have also heard the motto ‘it is better to do a few things well than a lot of things poorly’.
What these people do not know is that we now have a range of tools that can simplify everything for us, and in many cases do the work for us.
Imagine being able to do one action (for example, make a post on your website), and it instantly appears on an array of your other social media accounts perfectly formatted and set out, and linking your customers to the other important branding tools of your company?
Think of the benefits of this. Not only are you going to save a huge amount of time, but you are going to cover all of the types of media that your potential or existing customers use, without having to learn or even know much about them.
You will be branding your company, and the more people coming across your brand the greater the chance that they will get a positive view of your business and decide to choose it.
You also create a presence that gets the attention of the search engines, Google in particular. This leads to an increase in organic traffic, which places you above your competitors.
A word of warning, though: just make sure the plug-in is trusted and compatible. While this can be very easy to set up and run, it is worth doing some research first.
If done properly, automation can bring you success on a platter.
