Violent shooting incident rocks newly opened barbecue pork restaurant in Sing Buri

A shooting incident at a newly opened barbecue pork restaurant in Sing Buri left one dead and three others injured. The event happened at 2am today, causing a shockwave throughout the city.

Police officer Jitti Pankhlip, a Sing Buri homicide investigator, rushed to the scene with forensic experts and Sing Buri Po Tek Tung Foundation officials. They found 26 shell casings of various sizes scattered around the restaurant. The restaurant’s front windows had been pierced by four bullets.

The restaurant’s outdoor sitting area was the site of a gruesome discovery. The body of 40 year old Suriyo was found lying in the middle of the restaurant with a gunshot wound in his back. The bullet was still lodged in his body. In addition to the fatality, three other individuals were injured and rushed to Sing Buri Hospital.

According to the restaurant owner, the barbecue pork establishment had only been open for three days. At the time of the shooting, the restaurant was closed. However, the owner and three employees were awaiting a delivery of fresh vegetables and casually drinking while they waited. reported KhaoSod.

Suddenly, two cars pulled up, discharging a group of seven to eight individuals, including the deceased Suriyo. Without warning, they began to open fire on the group inside the restaurant. The owner and his employees attempted to escape, but one of the workers, Arm, returned fire at the attackers. Suriyo was hit and fell to the ground, prompting his group to hastily retreat.

It later emerged that two other members of Suriyo’s group were also injured. Mike was shot in the stomach and required emergency surgery. Off was shot in the leg. Arm, the restaurant worker who had returned fire, was also injured and taken to Sing Buri Hospital.

The reason for the violent confrontation remains unknown. The restaurant owner, who had only recently employed Arm, suggested that the two groups may have had a prior disagreement. However, investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the incident.
