Mitsubishi unveils XRT Concept pickup, a bold preview of the new Triton
Mitsubishi unveiled the XRT Concept, a bold and rugged pickup truck that provides a preview of the new Triton, set to be launched later this year. The Triton is Mitsubishi Motors’ top-selling model, and the new version will be the sixth generation of the brand’s midsize pickup.
The XRT Concept was showcased at the Bangkok International Motor Show and features a fierce expression on the front, with a robust hood that continues to the side, displaying bold and horizontally-themed styling. The pickup also comes equipped with front and rear over fenders, mud-terrain tires, and a camouflage design inspired by lava rocks packed with condensed energy, making it look as if it could conquer any terrain, reported Bangkok Post.
One of the key features of the XRT Concept is its sporty and dynamic design, which incorporates a graphic of the Ralliart brand icon on the sides. This represents Mitsubishi’s passion for driving and its commitment to providing a powerful and exciting driving experience.
The all-new Triton will be released sequentially in the ASEAN region, Oceania, and other global markets, with the launch taking place in Thailand this year. This launch will mark the first full redesign of the model in approximately nine years, and the XRT Concept provides a glimpse of the exciting changes that are in store.
