Second TYS to feature more small boats
PHUKET: Organizers of the second edition of the Thailand Yacht Show (TYS) at Ao Po Grand Marina from December 15-18 are looking to add new features to attract different visitors.
One of these, the ‘Premier Display’ is intended to give visitors the opportunity to view the latest small boats and other watercraft on offer in Southeast Asia.
“At the first edition of the show, we didn’t anticipate such a high level of interest in the latest runarounds and tenders, especially boats in the 10-40ft range. This show will see a great line-up of smaller boats, enabling newcomers to step into the yachting lifestyle,” says event director Wade Pearce.
Mr Pearce believes that this new element will perfectly complement the highly popular ‘Demo Platform’ at the first TYS, as crowds gathered to watch and test the latest jetski, flyBoard and lampuga exhibits.
