Kata Sea Breeze Resort has been awarded Thailand MICE Venue certification

Kata Sea Breeze Resort is now a certified Thailand MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) Venue as certified by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau for its Sea Sky Conference Room having met the required standards.
This opens up a new market for the resort now being able to be showcased worldwide as a 3 star + plus international MICE venue.
The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has developed a Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) to push forward development of the MICE industry with the aim of creating continuity and sustainability.
The Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) has three categories: convention centers, hotels and resorts, and various organisations that have meeting rooms such as provincial halls, museums, associations and institutes.
In order to be compliant with international standards, the TCEB has applied venue standard criteria from many countries in creating an assessment manual for the TMVS.
This will serve as a tool for entrepreneurs in the development, monitoring, consultancy and assessment of venue quality standards.
The Sea Sky Conference Room of Kata Sea Breeze Resort boasts 330 square metres of meeting space and is ideal for conferences and banquet functions. Located on the 5th floor, the Sea Sky Conference Room overlooks the resorts gardens and pools with both open air and air conditioned options.
