Police hunting for Phuket coffee shop thief

Phuket police are hunting for a thief who has broken into a coffee shop in Thalang this week.

Thalang Police were notified of the incident at the coffee shop inside PTT gas station on Thepkrasattri Road, northbound in Thalang.

Panada Molee, a coffee shop staff member, told police that she had closed the coffee shop at 8pm on Tuesday night before she opened the coffee shop again yesterday morning.

She discovered that a window of the coffee shop was broken and that 1,000 baht cash inside a damaged cashier counter was missing, as well as money inside the tip box.

Police says that they are now hunting for a thief by tracking down from CCTV footage.

The theft follows a story over the weekend where one man was caught after stealing from 30 other Amazon coffee shops in the inner west of Bangkok. Story HERE.
