Helmetless motorbike driver dies on deadly Phuket road
PHUKET: A helmetless man died of head injuries last night after his motorbike collided with a SUV being driven at high speed on Pa Khlok Road near the Heroines’ Monument (map here).
“The body of Prasit Munmai, 50, was lying face down on the road near his motorbike when we arrived,” said Kittipoom Tinthalang of the Thalang Police.

“Mr Pasit hit the asphalt headfirst, and died instantly,” said Maj Kittipoom.
The driver of the SUV, Korranee Klasuk, 53, was charged with reckless driving resulting in death.
