Power company schedules blackouts

PHUKET: The Phuket Provincial Electricity Authority (PPEA) has announced scheduled blackouts for the month of September. The PPEA will be clearing tree branches and installing orange insulating covers on power lines in these areas. The blackouts will last from 9 am to 4 pm. September 12: from Kwang Rd to Chalong Circle, including Chaofa Nai Rd, Moo Baan Tiwarathanee, Baan Bon Suan, Baan Palai and Phuket Country Home. September 13: from the Promthep Center on Phuket Rd to the Ruampaet Phuket Hospital, including some parts of Tambon Rassada, as well as Soi Taling Chan and Soi Surin; Soi Hub Ek; and Chana Charoen Rd up to the intersection near the Ruampaet Phuket Hospital. September 14: from the Patong branch of the Government Savings Bank to the Kamnan Restaurant, including the whole of Taweewong Rd, the Kalim-Patong junction and the Patong beach front. September 15: from the Surakul Stadium intersection to Wichitsongkram Rd, including Soi Wichitsongkram 1 and 3, Soi Mae Lew up to the Simjan junction, some parts of Mae Luan Rd, Soi Honglaeng Uthit, Moo Baan Suwannakarn, Soi Pokui, Soi Khao Rang Cemetery, and from Panthep Condo Town up to the Rang Hill intersection. September 18: from the Montri Hotel to the Clock Circle, including some parts of Phang Nga Rd as well as the City Park Building, the Pearl Trading Center and on up to the Surin Circle on Phuket Rd. September 21: from Koh Sawan Hotel on Poonphol Rd to the 999 Hotel, including Bangkok Rd, Soi Poothon and Poonphol Night Plaza. September 22: from Chalong Circle to Baan Laem Promthep, including Viset Rd, Baan Bangkontee, Baan Saiyuan, Nai Harn Beach, Ao Sané, Baan Kokmakham, Baan Laem Ka, Baan Rawai and Ya Nui Beach. September 26: from the Kwang Rd intersection to Tah Krang intersection, including East Chaofa Rd, Phuket Villa California, Phuket Villa 3, Soi Thepnusorn, Soi Sooknirun, Soi Paisarn, Soi Chalermpol and Soi Pasook. September 27: from the Amphur Rd intersection to Baan Leam Maipai, including Sri Sutat Rd, Moo Baan Kaeha, Soi Honsaitong, the fishing port, Baan Laem Nga, Baan Koh Sirae and Baan Laem Tookkae. September 28: from the Kwangtung Cemetery to Baan Laem Panwa, including Sakdidet Rd, Moo Baan Tarntong 1, 2 and 3, Moo Baan Panyamol, Moo Baan Rattana, Moo Baan Phuket Muang Thong, Moo Baan Hok-Huad, Baan Khaokad, Baan Borrae, Moo Baan Karuehatthani, Baan Ao Makham and Baan AoYon.
