PHUKET TOWN: Central Phuket Town will be without tap water from 10 am tomorrow until about 7 am on Wednesday to allow a rainwater pipe to be hooked up to the main water supply. The hook up will be carried out at the intersection of Yaowarat Rd and Soi Rungrawee, near Wachira Phuket Hospital, where Phuket Town’s Public Works Department will connect the rainwater pipe to the mains that supply the water treatment plant on Yaowarat Rd. The affected parts of Phuket Town will include all areas within the boundary starting at the southern end of Sena Niwet Rd, running north along Amphur Rd, Palian Rd, Sarawat Rd and Rassadanusorn Rd to its intersection with Thepkrasattri Rd. From there, the affected area stretches to the southern end of Hongyok Utis Rd where it joins Yaowarat Rd, in Samkong, then south along Yaowarat Rd to Mae Luan Rd, and west along Mae Luan Rd to Wichit Songkhram Rd. The perimeter line then runs east along Wichit Songkhram Rd to Patipat Rd, south along Chao Fa Rd, Sakdidet Rd, Sakdidet Soi 1, and south along Rattanakosin 200 Pi Rd to Saphan Hin.
