Know Russia better with iPad app
PHUKET: Readers seeking a better understanding of modern day Russia know the importance of the
English-language Russia Behind The Headlines (RBTH) journal, regularly found throughout Thailand in the Phuket Gazette and The Nation. Now, for those needing more information faster, the bounty of stories
created by RBTH is available through a newly launched RBTH iPad app – available on the Apple App
Store.
“Inside you can find deep and broad coverage of the most prominent Russia-related topics, in all possible
formats: multimedia long-reads; news digests, stories and comments; amazing photos and terrific videos,”
an RBTH press release says. “Whether you want to invest, examine, study or just experience the real
Russia, RBTH has something to offer.”
RBTH has been actively engaging Gazette and Nation readers for more than a year now, as the journal
pushes to provide stronger links between Russian society and foreign audiences.
Published by the massive Moscow-based Rossiskaya Gazetta, who build custom journals for the New
York Times, the Washington Post, the Times of London, the South China Morning Post, the Sydney
Herald and scores of other well known newspapers around the world, RBTH tailors its content to
country-specific audiences, just as they do here in Thailand.
“It’s been a long road for us to deliver a new and better RBTH app. I am grateful to our team and the
loyal users who participated in shaping this project,” Yaroslav Cohen, executive mobile editor, says. “We hope you will enjoy it while we’re working on something even more amazing. Go get the app and stay tuned!”
