Funeral services for John Seebach
CHERNG TALAY: Funeral rights for John Seebach are being held daily until his cremation on Tuesday morning at Wat Cherng Talay, where his body is now resting.
Although welcome to pay their respects at the wat anytime, friends and relatives are asked to attend a special memorial service on Monday night, starting at 7:20 pm.
A wake in memory of Mr Seebach will be held at the Watermark bar and restaurant on Wednesday from 7 pm to 9 pm.
John Seebach, who founded Phuket-based IT company Island Technology with his wife Autcharawan “Gay” Pratumwan, had previously been former Manager of Information Systems for Phillips Seafood International. He was also the writer of the column “IT Issues” which appeared bi-monthly in the Phuket Gazette.
His death has shocked and saddened the Phuket expat community, as he was known for his healthy looks, hard work ethic and jovial manner.
