Deadline for Phuket ‘yellow pages’
PHUKET: Businesses wishing to appear in the 2011 Gazette Guide, Phuket’s ‘yellow pages’, have until 6pm on Friday, November 12, to enter (or update) their listings. Entries after that date will appear in the Gazette Guide Online only – not in the hard-copy book for 2011.
The 400-page book, with details of more than 4,700 businesses serving the international community on Phuket, will be issued on January 12, 2011.
Listings, which are for Phuket, Phang-nga, Krabi and Samui only, can be entered (or updated) here in the Gazette Online, which has long enjoyed Google’s top page popularity ranking for Phuket.
Listings cannot be entered or altered in any way by Phuket Gazette staff – your assurance that your company’s appearance in the directory will be correct in every detail.
‘Stale listings, that is those which have not been updated for a period of 24 months, will be deleted automatically from the Guide database on November 15.
Basic listings are free of charge, both on line and in the hard-copy book. Premium features, such as multiple business categories, bold typefaces, web links and maps, are available at a nominal charge.
All listings are in English and, as always, the book will be available in all guest rooms of Phuket’s leading hotels.
The price of the book, on sale at retailers all over the island, remains unchanged for 2011 at 50 baht.
