BIS youth soccer camp open to all

PHUKET: Time is running out to register for the 3rd BISP Football Camp, to be held on February 16-18.

The deadline for entries is February 10.

The camp offers boys and girls aged 10 to 18 specialized football training by BISP Cruzeiro Football Academy Head Coach Jonathas Candido and Strength & Conditioning Head Coach Christopher Gaffney.

“Our focus is to build fundamental movement skills, while educating players in the four pillars of football: technical, tactical, physical and mental,” Candido explained.

Players will participate in a football program of seven and a half hours of high-intensity training twice a day – morning and afternoon sessions – so that they can instantly apply new techniques in game related exercises.

“The camp will concentrate on the techniques necessary to play the game professionally, including dribbling, shooting, passing, heading and control, while the physical conditioning side will focus on strength, core training and speed and agility,” Candido added.
