Phuket green plate taxi arrested for drugs at Airport

Saku Police officers, Royal Thai Navy officers and Phuket International Airport officers arrested a green-plate taxi driver, 36 year old Warin Maithong, with amphetamine pills and methamphetamine.

The officers set up a checkpoint to search for illegal items at the airport and at about midnight today (April 3), the taxi driver was stopped for a search. The officers found 10.5 amphetamine pills and 0.62 grams of methamphetamine.

He has been taken to Saku Police Station for further investigation and has been charged for possessing and trading drugs.
