Naked Brit attacks elderly Australian tourist with beer bottle in Pattaya

A naked British man on a rampage attacked an Australian tourist with a beer bottle until his face was covered in blood yesterday in Pattaya, Chon Buri province, eastern Thailand.

At 10.30pm, officers at Pattaya City Police Station were informed that a foreigner was assaulted and injured at the Tahitian Queen Agogo bar on Pattaya Beach Road in Nong Prue subdistrict in Bang Lamung district. Police rushed to the scene to investigate with rescue workers from Pattaya’s Sawang Boriboon Thammasatham Foundation.

At the scene, a crowd of onlookers huddled around 77 year old Josef Slezak of Australian nationality, who had a bust left eyebrow and a face full of blood after being hit with a glass bottle by the naked Englishman. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting him to the hospital for treatment.

Police detained the perpetrator, a stark naked British man, and took him to the police station for interrogation, reports 77Koaded.

Witnesses at Tahitian Queen Agogo told the police that the British man was drinking at the bar last night when he suddenly took off all his clothes and paraded around the bar stark naked. Then, the Brit started attacking people before picking up a beer bottle and smacking it off the Australian tourist’s head.

Staff and customers at the bar managed to get the situation under control until police arrived at the scene.

In March, officers from Pattaya City Police Station were informed that a tall foreign man was exhibiting himself on Pattaya Beach, horrifying beachgoers at the busy tourist spot. Police hurried down to the beach to find 63 year old Willhelm [surname unknown], of German nationality, “happily swimming in the sea.”

The nude foreigner was uncooperative and it took a good 15 minutes for officers to persuade him to come out of the water, police said. He picked up his pile of clothes and tried to escape from the police. Police said they had no choice but to detain and clothe the foreigner because he ignored their requests to put on some trousers.

In August last year, a European man wandered around Pattaya’s Bang Lamung district wearing nothing but a bum bag and a camera slung around his shoulder. South Pattaya police said the naked man spat on them every time they approached him.
