The suspect, 31 year old Manat, wearing an ankle monitor, was apprehended at the scene by the police and taken to Rattanathibet Police Station. It was discovered that Manat has a history of mental illness and has been treated at Sri Thanya Hospital.

The 35 year old Supachai said that he was informed of a fatal stabbing and came to inspect the crime scene, finding that the victim had already succumbed to his injuries. The suspect responsible for the crime was a mentally ill individual who had inflicted the fatal wounds.

During the investigation, 59 year old Pranee, and the aunt of the suspect, said that Manat had been released from prison but she did not know when. She mentioned that during the day, someone watches over Manat. However, at night, people are too afraid to stay with him and lock their houses out of fear. Manat had been receiving treatment at Sri Thanya Hospital for some time. As for the deceased victim, Pranee did not know who he was.

In a tearful account, Kimtiang, the mother of the deceased, stated that her son did not know the attacker and had been employed as a security officer near Kasetsart University.

He lived with her, and when he did not return home, she became worried after hearing the sounds of panic in the area. However, she never imagined her son would be fatally injured in this manner. Initially, the police took the suspect to Rattanathibet Police Station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
