Snake vs. gecko battle: ‘Room’ for drama outside the bedroom
A rare and dramatic encounter between a green snake and a gecko took place right outside a bedroom, leaving a man in shock and unable to leave his room. This unusual event was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media.
Chanchai Choysanoi shared a clip on Facebook, showing the intense battle between the green snake and the gecko. He explained that he was trapped in his room as the two creatures fought fiercely just outside his door. The video garnered significant attention online, with many viewers asking for the house number, hoping to use it as a lucky number for lotteries.
The 42 year old Chanchai recounted that the incident occurred at his home, house number 114, Ban Huai Sai, Moo 3, Ban Mai subdistrict, Khon Buri district, Nakhon Ratchasima. It was around noon when he was resting in his room and heard a noise resembling something falling outside his door. Curious, he opened the door and was shocked to see a large snake and gecko right at his doorstep.
Initially, both animals seemed startled and started to flee but they soon turned around and engaged in a fierce battle right in front of his door. Unsure of how to exit his room, Chanchai decided to film the rare event with his mobile phone.
He noted that neither the snake nor the gecko showed any sign of backing down, and it appeared they were fighting to the death. Eventually, he mustered the courage to open the door, using a broom to separate the two combatants. He then relocated them to the forest behind his house before posting the extraordinary encounter online.
Chanchai mentioned that such a confrontation was highly unusual, even though he occasionally saw snakes and geckos around. He hoped this unexpected event might bring him some good fortune, as he had not experienced much luck recently and was optimistic about winning a lottery prize.
