Public sorrow
“K9 Singto, my beloved, the beauty you brought with your love for 11 years, your strength and dedication in training to help humans, your good work as a member of the National Rescue Dog Organisation, and the smiles you gave people—all of these made me so fortunate to have you as my child.
“Thank you for teaching me the greatest things during our time together, working for society without expecting anything in return, except for the love you received from me and those around you. My dear, you have done the best any dog could do.
“I promise to continue taking the best care of your fellow rescue dogs and develop them to serve humans as you have shown me. Rest peacefully in a beautiful land. With love and sorrow, Alongkot Chukaew, your father, and Deputy Director of the National Rescue Dog Organisation.”
The heartfelt messages have touched many, highlighting Singto’s impact on both his human colleagues and the broader community. Singto’s dedication to rescue missions and the bond he shared with his handler have been a source of inspiration.
Singto’s legacy as a K9 rescue dog is remarkable and moving. His work included numerous rescue missions, where he played a critical role in finding and saving lives during natural disasters and other crises. The K9 unit, where Singto was a member, is known for its highly trained dogs that assist in search and rescue operations, often in challenging and life-threatening situations.
His passing is not just a loss for his handler and the organization, but also for everyone who values the role of rescue dogs in society.
