The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) forecasts scattered thunderstorms in Bangkok and its vicinity, with cool mornings and hot, hazy afternoons. High dust levels persist.

The next 24 hours will see weak high pressure over the upper northeastern region and westerly winds over the north, leading to cold mornings with fog in the north and northeast. Meanwhile, southerly and southeasterly winds over the central region, including Bangkok and the eastern region, will result in hot days with some thunderstorms.

Mountain peaks will experience cold to very cold weather. Residents are advised to manage their health due to varying weather conditions and be cautious of fire hazards resulting from dry conditions. The central region will start with cool, foggy mornings, then turn hot and hazy. Temperatures will range from 20°C to 23°C, with highs of 36°C to 38°C. Southeasterly winds will blow at 10 to 15 km/h.

The eastern region will have light morning fog, hot and hazy afternoons, and scattered thunderstorms in 10% of the area, particularly in Chon Buri and Rayong. Temperatures will range from 21°C to 25°C, with highs of 32°C to 38°C. Southeasterly winds will blow at 10 to 30 km/h, with sea waves below 1 metre and 1 metre offshore.
