Driver runs away after flipping Mercedes at Samkong
What do you do when you flip your Mercedes E350 at 2am in the morning at the Samkong Underpass? You run away it seems.
The driver flipped the car heading southbound into the Samkong Underpass. Some other drivers on the road at the time witnessed the crash and tried to use their own car extinguishers to control the blaze.
By the time emergency responders got to the scene the car was well ablaze. It took them 30 minutes to get the fire under control. Police have the details of the car’s owner from tracking down the car’s number plate and hope to find the driver soon to check if he’s OK and discuss the accident further.
