Thailand drops 7 places in world’s best places for expats to live

An Expat Insider survey on the world’s best places for expats to live sees Thailand drop 7 places.
The country is now in 25th place, out of a total of 64 destinations. Taiwan took the top spot, with Vietnam coming in second, and Portugal third.
In March, InterNations, the world’s largest expat networking group, consulted over 20,000 expats, from 182 countries, living in 187 countries or territories.
Respondents were asked to base their scores on 48 different factors related to living abroad.
Results were then collated and each destination was scored on quality of life, ease of settling in, working abroad, family life, and personal finance.
