Mother charged with Swansea child’s murder
Attempted murder charge also filed for attack on 67-year-old man
Authorities have charged Karolina Zurawska, 41, with the murder of six-year-old Alexander Zurawski, who died on Thursday in the Gendros area of Swansea. Emergency services responded to a call at Cwm Du Close at 8:30pm on Thursday. Police confirmed the child and woman lived together and stated they are not seeking any other suspects in connection with the death.

They noted his intelligence, maturity, and helpful nature, especially in cooking and cleaning. Alexander spoke both English and Polish, often correcting his parents’ English.

A police presence will remain in the area to offer advice and reassurance. He extended thoughts and condolences to Alexander’s family and friends.
