Nearly 20 Thai, Burmese, and foreign witnesses worked together to overturn a sedan to save a motorcyclist who was trapped beneath the vehicle on a road in Phuket yesterday, February 9. They successfully retrieved the rider but he later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

In a related story, a 15-year-old Thai girl had been searching for a Swiss man who saved her after a road accident in Buriram. They eventually had the chance to speak via video conference.
The girl expressed her gratitude to the foreigner, who helped stop her bleeding before the medical team arrived at the scene.
Medical staff later informed the girl’s mother that she might not have survived without the foreigner’s intervention.
