Saudi Arabia and Newcastle United: Deal follows Qatari agreement and assurances to Premier League
After Saudi Arabia resolved a dispute with Qatari broadcaster BeIN Sports, a Saudi-led consortium has taken over Newcastle United. The purchase – condemned by human rights campaigners – could not happen in Germany.
