Video Report: A Phuket lesson in abstract love
PHUKET: As part of its Valentine’s Day celebrations, Jungceylon is staging a four-day exhibition by two renowned local artists.
Watcharin Rodnit and Anuwat Sirirattanajitt have been friends for over ten year; in fact it was Anuwat who introduced Watcharin to Phuket a decade ago.
Despite their long friendship, this new exhibition – Duo Abstract – is the first time that the two have found the time to work together.
“It’s a new year, time for new ideas,” Watcharin explained on the opening night of the exhibition.
I’ve never painted just abstract, always there was a story to tell. I have already forgotten everything from last year. New year, new work… new Watcharin.”
The Duo Abstract exhibition will run in Jungceylon’s central plaza until 16 February.
