Phuket’s SMART Property and Lifestyle Expo is off and running
PHUKET: The SMART Property and Lifestyle Expo started December 27 and runs until December 30, 2012 at the Royal Phuket Marina (RPM).
It’s billed as Phuket’s best extravaganza for accessible luxury.
A showcase of best investment properties and “lifestyle” activities that epitomize luxury aspiration are on display. According to the organizer, Hoi Cheung, director, 3C Ltd, “In recent years Phuket has become known as the playground of the world’s rich and famous, attracting pop stars, celebrities, super-models and multi-millionaires. We have a fantastic venue in the Royal Phuket Marina, and we are trying to provide a taste of the luxury lifestyle experience to our international visitors and clients.”
International luxury properties from condominiums, villas, town houses, resort property to CBD apartments from the best investment destinations are currently on show. Leading reputable property developers and agents participating include Sansiri, Knight Knot, Amari Estates, Kata Rocks, Layan Tara, Charn Issara Presidence, Sumitomo Realty & Development, United Developers, Phuket Karon Hill, Krabi Boat Lagoon and etc.
Royal Phuket Marina have already sold two 2-bedroom condominiums worth 9.2 million baht each. Mert Ulusoy the GM of RPM told the Phuket Gazette:
“The condominiums were sold to a Thai buyer from Phuket. Our aim is to sell 10 units in total during the SMART expo.”
There are also various lifestyle activities. Not to be missed is the display of supercars from Ferrari FF and California to a series of Lamborghinis including the Aventador, the Super Trofeo Race Car and the Gallardo Facelift 2013 model.
Fine hand knotted Oriental carpets by Al-Mubeen Carpets are also on display and Overseas Manager, Sunhail ‘Sunny’ Kausar spoke to the Gazette about why they decided to come to the SMART expo:
“We are based in Bangkok and this is our first time in Phuket. We think there is a big market for these type of carpets in Phuket which is why we are here. Our carpets are from Pakistan, Iran and central Asia.”
The expo also encourages the wealthy to improve their mind and body for a better lifestyle. Visitors, courtesy of RPM Health Club, can feel free to use the latest medical technologies to have a free health screen and check their bone density, body mass index, muscle mass, fat percentages and more. Hayden Rhodes, a celebrity performance coach and general manager for the club will walk through detoxification and stress reduction methods at the free seminars inside the expo hall.
Not only is there plenty to do and see, but the SMART Expo is also a family oriented event. British International School, Phuket are hosting a special Kids Activities Area within the expo where kids can fully immerse themselves in creative play.
