Phuket Property: An emerald on the isle

Legacy Phuket Gazette

PHUKET: Located in the heart of the rapidly developing Phuket Central Business district, Emerald Central Condo has matched quality design with a prime location to create an excellent opportunity for investors and owner-occupiers alike.

The developers behind Emerald Central, Phuket Future Development Co Ltd, say the project was created with the three guiding principals of “quality, design, and functionality”.

Managing Director of Emerald Central Mr Sawit Kateroj says the project is aimed at those seeking a luxury condo at an affordable price.

“There is strong competition in the condominium industry of Phuket, with many entry-level condos having a start price from one million baht, we want to focus on the higher-income segment, those who want more privacy and luxury,” he said.

With this in mind, Emerald Central will be a complete community with “trees, art, entertainment, shopping, fitness, restaurants and more”.

Mr Kateroj says that to achieve this community feel, they have reduced the density of buildings to be constructed on the project’s three rai of land.

“On about three rai (4,800sqm) of our land, we have only 180 units. It is possible that 300 units could be built, but we have reduced the number to create more public space as well as provide more privacy for the individual units,” he said.

Unit prices begin at 2.58 million baht (for 31sqm units), but the much sought after luxury penthouse pool villas are the premium offering and start at 12 million baht – there are only three still available so interested parties will have to move quick.

“Our special 145 to 189sqm pool villas will be on the top of the condominium (7th floor) and will be accessed by a personal lift from the car park,” said Mr Kateroj.

Conveniently located on the island, near Central Festival, Big C and Phuket International Hospital, Emerald Central Condo is poised to grow in value as the area continues to develop at a rapid pace.

“The location is in the center of Phuket, which is expected to have a convention hall and another shopping mall [added] making the area similar to Sukhumvit-Thonglor in Bangkok. Emerald Central is located on Vichitsongkarm Road and connects with Soi Tida, which is a shortcut to Bypass Road,” he explained.

Continuing to set the standard for condominium and property development, Emerald Central Condo will be architecturally unique with a modern feel and flowing organic lines.

For more information about Emerald Central, visit the sales gallery opposite Makro between 9am and 6pm, drop by the sales booth on the second floor of Central Festival in the financial zone, or call 082-333 3416.
