Phuket Property: An emerald on the isle

“On about three rai (4,800sqm) of our land, we have only 180 units. It is possible that 300 units could be built, but we have reduced the number to create more public space as well as provide more privacy for the individual units,” he said.

Unit prices begin at 2.58 million baht (for 31sqm units), but the much sought after luxury penthouse pool villas are the premium offering and start at 12 million baht – there are only three still available so interested parties will have to move quick.

“Our special 145 to 189sqm pool villas will be on the top of the condominium (7th floor) and will be accessed by a personal lift from the car park,” said Mr Kateroj.

Conveniently located on the island, near Central Festival, Big C and Phuket International Hospital, Emerald Central Condo is poised to grow in value as the area continues to develop at a rapid pace.

“The location is in the center of Phuket, which is expected to have a convention hall and another shopping mall [added] making the area similar to Sukhumvit-Thonglor in Bangkok. Emerald Central is located on Vichitsongkarm Road and connects with Soi Tida, which is a shortcut to Bypass Road,” he explained.
