Phuket Carnival Jazz Night concert on Patong Beach tonight

PHUKET: Jazz fans are in for a treat tonight, despite Phuket’s wet weather, with a free Jazz Night concert held as part of the Patong Carnival, which began on Saturday.
The concert includes local greats the Jun Abe Band, Jazz Shop Funk Addict, Manila Machine, Neung Jakkawai Band and Siam Cubano Band.
Vichart Jirathiyut, managing director of event organizer Hitman Co Ltd, confirmed that the stage on the beach at the end of Soi Bangla has been set, sound checks have been completed and the line-up of artists are ready to get the show underway from 7pm.
“We will perform the concert as scheduled. The weather is not too bad here in Patong,” he told the Phuket Gazette late this afternoon.
The performance schedule is:
Manila Machine 7pm to 7:45pm
Jazz Snob Funk Addict 8pm to 8:45pm
Neung Jakkawai Band 9pm to 9:45pm
Jun Abe Band 10pm to 10:45pm
Siam Cubano Band 11pm to Midnight
This event is proudly sponsored by the Phuket Gazette and PGTV’s “Phuket Today” show, aired six times daily on True Visions – nationwide.
