Russian injured after falling from rock taking selfie on Patong beach, Phuket

A female Russian tourist has been injured after falling from a rock on Patong beach while trying to take selfie-photo over the weekend.
Patong Surf Life Saving report that they arrived at the scene to find the Russian woman laying on the beach. There were quite a few scratches on her body.
Her friends said that the woman was trying to take selfie of the “beautiful scenery”. After being given first aid at the scene she was taken to Patong Hospital. Doctors say she is in reasonable condition.
